RM, formerly known as Rap Monster, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He is the leader of the South Korean boy band BTS. He began his career as an underground rapper, going by the stage name "Runch Randa." He gained recognition for his skills and released several mixtapes before joining Big Hit Entertainment. In 2013, he debuted as a member of BTS. He has been instrumental in the group's success, contributing to the songwriting and production of many of their hit songs.
